SANCTIFICATION - Sinful Nature must be cleansed - Growth is Necessary

A HOLY GOD COMMANDS HOLINESS FROM PEOPLE AND OBJECTS DEDICATED TO HIM - LEVITICUS 19 God wants all his people to be holy as he is holy as seen in the book of LEVITICUS 19:2. God expects that all who has put on his name ACTS 2:38 and ACTS 4:12 to display Holiness unto the Lord and be the light of God to people everywhere they are. God's righteous nature is the very opposite of sin, and he ask his people to be like him in this respect. He enables them to be a holy people when they separate themselves from sin and devote their lives entirely to God. ISAIAH 6:1-8, LEVITICUS 20:7-8. It is by means of the Holy Spirit infilling the life of the believer with himself that this holy living becomes possible. ST. JOHN 14:15,16. Further surrender of sin gradually is urged as it is believed that complete santification is not achieved in the initial santification. It is believed that God forgives sins and imparts sanctification however how and when and to what extent the Holy Spirit enters the life of the believer however some christians believe that it is at the moment of Conversion. It is also believe that further sanctification is only achieved by personal discipline, habit formation for example reading your bible, praying, fasting, praising, worshiping, gathering and worshiping together with fellow believers, paying tithes and offerings and spreading the good news of Jesus Christ by doing these things that christians experience gradual grown and conversion. Matthew 3:11, john 7:38-39, John 16:7-8, John 17:20, ROMANS 8:9 God's plan to equip his people for Holy Living can only be achieve when every Christian genuinely believes that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour and seeks the experience of the in-filling of the Holy Spirit-the comforter to be able to fully experience what God has in store for them. He who becomes a follower of Jesus Christ is given a new spiritual life; a life of loyalty and love for God by the Holy Spirit which is described as a new creation or being born again. Born of the Spirit means passing from the curse of death and hell to eternal life through Christ Jesus. This work of Grace through faith is known as entire sanctification. It is not enough to be forgiven of sins in the past but also present and future must be surrendered to God. Growth is Necessary in holiness however it is a lifelong process. From the moment the believer repents and turn from sinful ways to the ways of Christ he grows daily in GRACE and in more perfect obedience to God. This will prepare the believer for entire sanctification when the believer now presents himself a living sacrifice, Holy and acceptable to God, through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and having received the baptism of the Holy Spirit who cleanses the heart of any iniquities that is being harbored in the heart of the believer and enables the believer to love and serve God effectively and lifelong growth in grace and knowledge of our Savior Jesus Christ and his shed blood on cross calvary and the evidence of obedience to God's will.
EVERY CHRISTIAN - John 17:17,20 John 16:6,7, Act 1:4,5 1st Thess.5:23 God has made his Holy Scriptures available for to us in this life. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to every believer of Jesus Christ who seek him today. The Scriptures teaches Holiness,
